About Us
The laboratory began as a mess used to drop samples from around East Barito before they were sent to the Banjarmasin branch of PT ATQ for analysis.
In March to April 2019, the laboratory was staffed by four personnel transferred from the Senakin site and two preparers from the PT ATQ Banjarmasin office. As the demand for services increased, additional employees were added every year, and currently the number of laboratory employees reaches 20 people.
In June 2023, the laboratory received ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation with code LP-1818-IDN, signifying its commitment to international quality standards. Currently, the lab receives samples from various locations, particularly in Central Kalimantan, and serves coal cargo analysis and inspection.
With a focus on coal products, ATQ Tamiang Layang continues to provide the best service and meet the needs of the industry in the region.
